I don't think you are "wrong" to point out what you are experiencing, it seems rather impossible that you could be. But "art" isn't however you in particular want to define it. I'm concerned personally, that if we take what you're saying here completely seriously, we will forget that art is an interplay of communication across time and space the life and times of the person. What I mean is that you're right that MAYBE AI art isn't art, but that doesn't make your counter definition sufficient to cover the rest of the expression of the human condition to other humans they never knew. Cave painting and "I was here" on a tree ARE art that you're framework puts on the curb as trash...... Most likely because kids these days can't tell the difference between expensive art and expressive art.
I mean if you were always interested in the only art available and legit is painting on real or digital canvases..... Just say so 😊
