AI will get rid of millions of crap jobs. The point is that this benefit needs to be channelled to the working class and the general population, not to millionaires. What's the point of manufacturing things if no one can buy them? Stuff will have to be free. AI may very well end the billionaire class - society may have to restructure. Work could also be seen as a way of controlling and suppressing the population; serfs only worked 23 hours a week in the dark feudal days.
