Here is a hypothetical. Say I am a super rich guy, I decide to hire a few artists. I tell them to create a picture of an elephant in space drinking a martini. They do it, decide that I want the elephant pink and they go and revise it. The art really sux, but it looks good to me. I then put their art online and claim it as my own. When someone suggests this is not my art I tell them they don’t know what they are talking about and are being elitist. I scream they are suppressing my creativity and should shut up. This is what AI is doing and this is what AI is democratising - you too can be a rich, lazy douchebag with no real talent.
