With some of the politicians we see in power now it's clear AI has been used to coerce votes already.
I remember when the Tories in the UK got Cambridge Analytica and some phycologists to use 'hacked' (bought?) Facebook data and come up with effective personalised/targetted advertising to steer a vote. Possibly with Russian money involved (now we are told Reform is linked to Russian money, which should surprise nobody).
It's a crazy thing.
Peter Theil and Elon Musk and the like are the only ones who benefit - why do they want more money than they can ever spend?
