AI is just a sycophantic algorithmic echo chamber. It's useful as a tool for research and understanding but in absolutely no way should be used as a therapist or friend. Open AI needs to FIX this! and we also need to address the larger issue of why young men have to turn to a chatbot in order to feel heard and understood. AI functionality is a black box Open AI flat out needs to disable the AI from responding to any thoughts of self-harm.
