Something similar happened. My boss told me that in the future there will not be positions in the company for people that refuse to use AI. I stood my ground and told him that it is immoral to use it and I refuse to use it not because I have an aversion to change, but because I'm fully aware of where this is going. You don't need to be clairvoyant to forsee an oversaturated market of AI generations. Google "Dead Internet Theory". It says it's a conspiracy theory but it's quickly becoming a reality. Pinterest and google has more AI images than regular images now. AI can provide value but it also lowers the quality of the output because it requires no effort and every schmuck with a subscription can do it. Therefore it is worthless. I do NOT want to read articles written by AI. I do not think anyone does. The fact that you used it and it replaced you, is a perfect example of how you have to draw the line and do as you want society to do. If you dont want to lose your job to AI, then do not use AI yourself. Find like minded individuals and make a change. I sure am. Don't just shrug and be like: "whatchyougonnadoeh?"
