I like the theory that some companies pretended to go with AI just to get rid of very poor performaning employees and I'm okay with this. I've heard of a woman at my Dad's place of work who is actively suing her current boss just for talking about how she sued her previous boss, all while she does a sh*try job but can't be fired because that's just how messed up federal employment can be.
