that's exactly what happens when therapists just tell that you have austism and write you a prescription instead of telling you how intrusive thoughts work, so i wouldn't blame people for using chatgpt. Many people are desperate to find the answers about their issues. In my case chatgpt also told me things that a therapist should have told me already. this just shows which world we are living in.
