If tens of millions of people lose their jobs to AI and robotics then they wont have money to spend on new cars or for fast food or shop at walmart or from amazon or to buy computers smartphones to use facebook etcetera. If the major corporations want to stay in business then they need to keep people employed. AI and robots dont go shopping and spend money that keeps businesses and the economy going. People are the ones who shop and spend money keeping corporate america in business.
