There actually are alot of people that seem to be against even the for fun AI ( James Corden as Vegeta destroying planets ) which is why there has become a big culture war related to AI. Each side becomes more polarized with the pro-ai side thinking all anti-ai people will physically attack you for liking any kind of AI including for-fun stuff, and the anti-AI side thinking all the pro-ai people are scammers or thieves. For example, there are people who have actually had death threats for just posting for-fun images on twitter and I imagine the reverse is probably true too.
