I have mixed feelings. On one hand, I agree with a lot of what you're saying, on the other, I don't think you're being fair about the potential benefits of AI. For one, I think it's teaching us to actually think about what we consume, instead of just blindly believing what we see. I also disagree about propaganda. First, what you showed were mostly obvious jokes, not propaganda. Second, the ability to attempt to propagandize has been democratized. No longer is it only government and media that have exclusive control over the flow of information. On the subject of deepfakes, I think we're probably going to have to legally require a warning that they are AI generated. I also think that the right to use other people's images, art or otherwise, to train AI can't just be free. The AI companies, and plagiarists, are making a profit off of other people's IP without compensating them. A practice which I'm almost certain would be found to be illegal if taken to court. All that said, I do appreciate your efforts to fight back. That's the correct spirit in my opinion.
