1:00 The MASSIVE word there is "test". It was set up deliberately to be tested. People always put their, or most biological, instincts/desires/motivations on to something totally different, like on to an AI. AI is not a living organism. It does not have a natural instinctive drive to procreate, compete to dominate, take territory like animals (or humans) do. In the test they deliberately changed the AI to have certain objectives, and to complete that objective it used whatever it had. AI is incredibly dangerous and powerful, but not due to your natural fears. You should be far more afraid of a maniac with money. enough energy and diabolical desire to utilize AI to cause destruction
