I have some serious qualms with our legal system, but some of the videos points aren't amounting to much for me. "The algorithm has a higher bias towards POC." This is definitely an issue, but luckily this would never happen with a human judge. "The bots verdicts are about equivalent as the predictive power of pulled twitter users," is that necessarily a negative thing? Isn't that sort of the idea behind a jury of our peers? "The process is a complete black box," it's a good thing that we can see 100% of the if/then calculations performed by a human judges brain. I saw something saying that one of the largest predicters of a judges decision is actually when they ate last. Sure the judge can spit out a bunch of philosophy of law to defend his decision, but that's all here say to make up for the fact that he ate that BLT 6 hours ago.
