Okay it’s not that you’re “poison” doesnt work it does but ai is progressed via human reinforcement. So all it takes is a human correcting the data set to apply an anti-toxin.
As for AI as a reference. I agree with the AI artists on this one. Its should be for the exploration stage of an art piece or character. And should be refined by an artist. I have an image in my head of what I want my character to look like, but if I commission someone to draw them and it comes out completely wrong to my vision I’m left paying someone for something I didn’t envision the characters as. I as an artist dont care if i get an ai image to work from as a starting step. I don’t want it to replace me entirely.
