The problem is that being good at art isnt good enough, you need to exceptional for art to be anything but a hobby. Here's my personal stance on ai art so feel free to argue. I write books so i sometimes need art, almost exclusively for covers.In full honesty I was never going to commission art from an artist. The art is necessary but not a priority so I use ai art. If you think that because I need art, that i have to pay an artist for it that sounds like entitlement. I can use ai art to make a cover for free, instead of paying 30 to 200 dollars for art that I don't even think looks better than ai.
