Pay attention that he says AI overtaking humanity is “unlikely.” Not impossible, unlikely. This alone destroys the argument for AI.
“Turn off the data center” is a theory only useful in a vacuum. Once governments and people with money take control of the whole operation, it would be nearly impossible to “turn it off” just because the people want it.
Not to mention people don’t want to lose their jobs to this crap.
