They wanted AI to replace the workers instead of using AI as a tool to push productivity. That is the biggest problem with a lot of these tech companies. They were looking for something to replace the human element but they forgot that the human element is what makes things work. It's a hard lesson that had to be learned but usually they don't start learning lessons until it starts affecting their pockets. Have your resumes ready y'all.
