The issue that you are not seeing is this: The entire need for humans in the workplace for the entirety that it has been taking place has been nothing more than a longstanding engineering problem. A job is what happens when you fail to automate a task. There was no alternative because some tasks were just too complex, the technology not developed enough, and we never had machines that could think, recognize objects, or perform complex tasks. Now we do and the need for humans to do those things is going to be removed. The only place jobs will exist is for things that engineering problem still exists for, and if there exists no gaps in our ability to engineer solutions then the need to create a job for a human to fill that inefficiency will not exist.
