Without a doubt this man is more educated and intelligent than me, and yet he demonstrates some breathtaking naivete. In the past, he didn't expect AI would ever surpass and replace us, even though science fiction writers posited that outcome since basically forever. Now, in the present, he says Google Search doesn't need regulation because it just "provides information"??? Google is constantly under fire for manipulating search results to favor outlets and links they support.
