Imagine you take away food and replaces it with tasteless pills that provides you with most of the stuff you need to survive. It's fast and effective, sure, but doesn't provide any joy or realness to eating an apple for example.
That's what AI art feels like for me. One of the core things of human beings, that brings us so much joy and inspiration, are replaced by a lowquality imitation that can never beat the real thing.
