This video is not really true at all. The money is not getting scared. At all. What does that even mean? Every number from investments, to researchers to amount of grants, to papers written, to users per day or month or year, EVERY number is ONLY trending up, period. All of it, the amount of power the amount of backlog of infrastructure or data center equipment, we have backlogs in the billions for years to come with the insane demand. No "money is getting scared" is happening. Its the opposite. They expect no return for a while and the only people getting "scared" are those who bet on companies that don't seem to be in the running anymore (meta, apple, any other big tech non-ai company).
You don't help by trying to make up fake cracks in the current hype bubble where they don't exist. Talk about the real cracks and stop covering for China. China ONLY has "good" regulations for AI because the creation of the AI is state-owned in general. So they won't be able to compete long term, their strategy will lose and they will return to the arms race.
