I'm only 16 minutes in, and I already understand many of your points. However, I don't think these problems will spread to other countries. In the EU, manufacturers don't decide whether a car is allowed on the road—independent authorities handle that. This is different from the USA, where manufacturers are allowed to regulate themselves. And I don't think this will change with autonomous cars. Why should it?
