This honestly pisses me off because in creative writing in high school for me, we had to start a NaNoWriMo project and you have to write a book of 50,000+ words to complete it. As someone with ADHD and other mental health issues, this is like a punch in the face. I can write just fine still, but it can take me longer. I worked my ass off to meet their criteria when there was no AI but now people can just cheat and be “accomplished?” Absolutely discouraging and disrespectful for us writers who actually put in our effort and emotions. If they actually cared about disabilities, they would’ve taken away the pressure of such a strict timeline.
