Lol a “flawed criminal system.” You know what, you’re correct. It is flawed. A man went to prison from being on trial by public opinion or a small group of idiots that are given a voice. Not by facts and evidence which is what are justice system should be based on. So yes, the system is very flawed. Also yes, facial recognition is terrible on darker skins and “other marginalized groups” cause of the depth and clarity of a picture. It’s a mall security camera that an AI used. Shit camera quality and dark skin equals no definite facial features for an AI to do a good job. There’s no shadows or noticeable features on someone with dark skin and terrible lighting on a picture. Especially on a camera that is from the 80’s.
