I have a friend who uses AI a lot for her D&D campaign to generate tokens for NPCs or maps or concept art of locations.
What is your thoughts on that style of use of AI art? She's not putting the ai art on the Internet. She's not particularly trying to claim she made it. She's just treating it as a Google image search that she can tailor a little more to her niche requirements.
I'm asking this as I am not an artist and I'd like to understand more the extent to which AI art is a problem and whether it can be used ethically.
