Something to note about the comparison between factory work and art creation, is that it's actually not at all applicable for 1 simple reason: Factory work, like, for example, sewing, requires precise predetermined steps rather than an original complex output, meaning that the original input of people who were doing that job before is not required at all, the only thing needed is to tell the machine how exactly to do the job and it'll do it, while for AI to function, it NEEDS a constant stream of manmade art to learn from, and if AI starts learning from itself, it eventually devolves back into nonsense. This creates a situation where AI still needs human artists in order to keep existing, except its existence actively tries to push artists out of jobs, creating less human artists, thus less input for learning, thus less effective AI, which eventually starts requiring human input again. AI art is parasitic to human art, hurting human artists while also requiring them to still be around to work, but also hurting itself in the long run. Talk about unsustainable.
