As a person with aphantasia - I love ai. But I wouldn't call anything I generate as "art" not would I call myself an "artist" for using it. It's a great tool when you completely lack an inner eye, but still want to be able to visualise thoughts real quick like any normal person. Not every ai use has to be about sharing what you make. Sometimes it can be as simple as generating an image of a DND character so you don't forget what your own character looks like after 3 seconds.
