There needs to be an art piece for an AI to make a image, remove the artists and you get no ai images. The ai company is stealing the artist's work. (I explained this so bad, help) Edit: Basically it's like a character creator! Someone who used it and posted a picture of what they made still gets to 'kinda' claim the design of their character, but they'll give credit to the artist as it would never have even existed without the artist spending time adding their pictures to make the creator. A artist might need to sell their work to put food on the table, etc. Artist can't just draw themselves money to buy things with, pictures aren't just spawned onto the internet, and there's paper & pencil, free digital programs, etc. for the 'poor people who deserve to make art too'. I myself use a free program and can give you some names if you can't find any :D (This goes to any artists that actually want to learn too <33) I agree, I think it should at least be an opt in type of ordeal, or pay the artists for their work after they choose to opt in.
