Artist here, jobs have been lost due to ai, and it seems not a lot of jobs are popping up to replace them sadly. Outcompeting an ai by continually innovating daily only to then feed an ai is not really feasible. Copyright was made so creatives don't have to compete with their own work, which is what has now happened
