Yud brings facts, history, and evidence to conclude AI will destroy us all. His critics, including this one, can’t deny his conclusion, instead they sidestep it with obscure philosophical ramblings about “what do we mean by life” or “how does one define intelligence”. Yud is screaming and pointing at the giant meteor heading straight at us and his critics want to argue whether to call it a meteor or an asteroid.
