Ai art is fine. I’m old enough to remember when cassettes were going to destroy the music business, then it was mp3s; so many things were going to destroy so many other things until people remembered capitalism always finds a way.
Ai is just new technology so it’s “unethical”. Sampling music and reusing melodies were common in the musical evolution until James Brown got lawyers involved in the industry when hip hop proved its worth. Now everyone thinks inspiration and borrowing is the same as plagiarism and stealing.
