as an artist and ai programmer... fuck ai art... its a neat trick, its pushing tech, but dude we got mid journey before advanced motor skills for ai, isn't that stupid, im also a sculptor, and now theres a plugin that makes AI 3d models in blender, and wtf... we shoulda had robots doing our laundry years ago, this shit shouldn't even be a debate. I'd also like to give insight onto why tech bros are like this. So i have an understanding of both creative minds, and straight forward minds, and usually they go great together, but now new tech has become about party tricks, making a robot do whatever, and ai art began to gain traction because of the easy markets its opening up. programmers finally got some congrats we deserved, but now, these party tricks are becoming harmful to real jobs, and without rules in place we struggle to figure things out, and society runs on this more than you'd think, in the 90s once we found cloning tech, a scientific break through but also party trick, we made it illegal to clone humans, and this is a pattern we find in history everywhere, society works, something new happens, we set rules, we move on, but now both sides are strong, and with programmers, pushing something like artificial intelligence which is literally just built to learn and use data given its like raising a child, these are advanced and breakthroughs, no doubt, but eventually rules have to be set, and i think we need to make this relevant to politics if we want anything to move forward. How do we do this? an old trick by the book people use,...voters have strong opinions, and if a politicians or even candidate sees that voters don't like something, they will focus on working on it, so they get a second term, sometimes reforming morals of tat very person. Lyndon Johnson, JFK, Woodrow Wilson, Eisenhower, literally any president you can think of has had something similar. more thoughts in the reply sections
