This is a complex topic, and its paradoxical, we all really don't know yet what is right...the best thing will be to unite and design AI in a way it serves us only when it has too, but that defeats the purpose of innovation which is simplify stuff, staying away from AI is like not moving being afraid you might get a car accident, i think its important that just like we humans created AI, we should invent a way to co- survive together,
I see brain to computer interfaces are about to brigde that gap, its sounds appocalytic but maybe, just maybe thats our only hope to save us from collapsing our cognitive abilities
