If you have viewed television, listened to the radio, watched the evening news, read a few tech books/magazines then it's safe to say that you have been warned about the potential abuse of technology against citizens but it seems like nobody gives a damn about it. People keep feeding the "beast" that has a never ending appetite and you're #1 on the menu. Social media sites exist for 2 reasons - to provide you with a service to publish your life's activities (like your life is that exciting in the first place that I and others just have to know about you) and to profit from the selling of that information they collect. A third function is to provide "big credit" with a means to update their databases with newly changed information that users have freely done. A forth function that is being built, refined, expanded, updated and currently in place is to provide fusion centers (LE, citizen intel and Govt) with instant data on a plethora of activities that you participate in as part of your dossier - all with a few key strokes. If you have tech in your home and that tech has a microphone or a camera, then you can rest 100% assured that that microphone is listening to you and watching you more than you think. They have said in testimony before congress that they don't listen (spy) but my 2nd career (which I subsequently abandoned) was in the computer industry and I understand the dark sides of tech and know first hand what the priests of technology want to do with it. They sell all of this to you under the veil of convenience and automation and simplification of your life. How many of you have had google home tech talk back to you and you've not inquired of it in hours? I have tracked this scenario for months and since August 2020 I have experienced a 250% increase in the cases where my little google pod has either just started talking to me or has interrupted a conversation I was having, mainly with my wife. I get many of those, "I don't have any information on that." That means it was actively listening. If you have home security cameras inside your house then you best be careful that your private areas are not in view. Again, if that camera has a microphone, then you activities in your so called private areas are subject to listening if located close by. Lord help you if you have a camera in the bedroom or are one of those types that has a laptop continually running - free porn for somebody! Simply put, they have made merchandise out of your soul. Worst things is that people have done this to themselves.
