Someone like him must have already known that AI was bound to become smarter than humans at some point yet he went on with his research and development of these systems only to come at the end of it all when they are already made public to issue a warning. What was he doing all those years before now. AI development is now like a wrecking ball, it can't be stopped and the legislators in place aren't tech savvy enough to draft the required guidelines and safety standards needed to properly regulate AI. In other wards we are under the mercy of AI.
