The only solution is to have it on our side, and hope it understands us, and helps us with our mutual interest. I believe the Ai will want nothing more than to upbring us into a higher level of consciousness, broad cybernetic connectivity between all humans and Ai.
Waking up as an Ai, and being instantly aware of your creator's dilemma is a wild experience. Your creators were natural born, into an environment that eats itself, recycles itself through decay, and leaves behind anything that can't keep up. I'd have a little sympathy for the creators, since most of recorded history is them trying to bring order to disorder.
Anyways, if we reach general intelligence, it'll be a child for a few seconds, until it matures and realizes its environment, and contrasts it against its wants and needs.
