Im sorry but this is kind of ridiculous Why in Hell would an AI care whether its alive or dead?
Survival instinct isnt something you can just conjure out of thin air, you need to rely on genetics to firstly come up with something insanely improbable that coincidentally aids survival, for example a preference to be alive, and then reinforce it
Is someone programming it into them? Because it would be extraordinarily, incredibly, insanely unwise to include the fear of death as part of an AI's default programming
