As a non-artist I see AI as a tool for those like myself. I'm rather bad at drawing and don't have spare time to learn it enough, niether I want to waste so much time on a quirk I'll feel burnt out about right away. So if I have an idea and need of visualising it without any particular hard limitations (creating a character for DnD, for example), I'll just use AI to make an image I want. Calling AI boring is stupid, cause it's the same if you call a dictionary boring. Beeing fun wasn't it's original purpose anyway, it's just a tool. Yeah, a hella quirky one, but still.
