As a person that builds AI programs as a hobby, which is mostly 90s technology for AI projects
The only time that I actually use AI generation is for very difficult opponents
I was working on a texture for another project, but it was just a damage and there was no layers in Photoshop. I was trying to make a yellow part into a camo. I sat in my desk, attempting to try everything I could to get it to be that way without destroying the rest of the image.
At that point, I had no choice but use AI that gave idea texture map explained to what it was that I was doing about 30 seconds later it got the job done but of course I still had a lot of work to do. I still had to fix and adjust a lot of details on.
I wasn’t going to sell this or anything. It was more of a personal project.
But most of the time in my free time I absolutely love doing art but only time I ever use AI is when I need it
