Adversely if people don't have income or work costs would inflate and production would fall. The wealth is tied to the value of the dollar. With out value wealth is meaningless. In our technological age of ai and robotics many jobs will be filed by robots, in turn less jobs for humans less income inflated prices and the value of the dollar becomes worthless as the consumers would have to fall back onto barter and crime. It's obvious this will happen and the UBI funded federally by reforming current programs, sales tax, wealth tax, or business tax is the only way to stop this economical hiccup. Unfortunately to get people back into work higher education will be needed. Reforming education to a ubi system and self paced learning format will be required to ensure workers are prepared for a technological society. Requirements of current student or employment will have to be mandatory, so that no one just takes advantage of the ubi system. No one wants to live pay check to pay check just to survive, making cost of living and higher education financially stress free will give people adequate opportunity to self pace education with out worry of being homeless, this will increase graduation rates, and intellect. UBI could bring creativity, entrepreneurship, invention, innovation, skilled specialists in every field, arts and entertainment. It's not that people are lazy, it's people are becoming expressive, and more social as we adapt and evolve in this ai era.
