You should be organizing products by shape and size with heavier products of the same size and shape at the bottoms of the racks.
And depending on the size and shape of the products, you should tailor your racks to fit that size and shape most efficiently, while making the racks universally adaptable for different sizes and shapes, to prevent having too many spare racks for the wrong sizes and shapes.
This will create a higher density of product storage and reduce the area needed to store these items, thereby, reducing travel times of the racks.
I would do a lot of things differently.
But you're not really trying to be as efficient as you could be because then the slaves would see how things work best.
It seems like you want to implement different technologies one at a time to test them for worthiness but then remove them from use if they prove to be too effective, and then use them elsewhere out of sight of the proletariat, where you combine all of the best technologies and methods to operate at the highest level of efficiency humanly possible, which the slaves are not allowed to use for themselves.
Or we could all just sit at home all day wondering where money comes from while the robots did all the work for us and made everything very inexpensive to purchase, eliminating the need for a full-time job.
Most of manufacturing is busy-work to keep slaves from having enough time in their schedules to participate in politics, so they don't find out the hard way that they're not allowed to, because they're slaves.
The art of mass-distraction through inefficient workplace methods while keeping a surplus of human labor available to keep life cheap.
You could run this entire facility far better than you are, and you realize this.
This is a test-bed for fully-automated manufacturing and distribution to one day eliminate the need for slaves, all together.
"This is a test-bed for fully-automated manufacturing and distribution to one day eliminate the need for slaves."
-All, together
Inefficiencies create jobs and inefficiencies are created to create jobs, in order that the slaves don't have enough time to start working for themselves while they wait for you to give them something important to do.
Idle hands...
That exists in every industry and in every country because there's only one bank ruling this planet and they need us to need their money much more than they need their money.
It's not greed, it's control.
And this is what happens when you allow mobsters running private central banks to exclusively decide who gets to have money and who doesn't.
They steal planets with genocide and get the victims to clean up the mess while they murder and consolidate them into smaller and smaller geographical locations.
Cities are the new concentration camps in the slow-burning purge.
Why are you so depressed?
Have a nice day!
They love to see you smile!
Just imagine what they have out there in the countryside where you're not allowed to live or visit... national parks, state parks, land in easement, wildlife reserves and large military bases, etc..., right?
The Yukon Territory, Tibetan Plateau and the Eastern Siberian Taiga, alone...
Most of the world is "vacant" while they're packing you into cities by size and shape in HOA cell-blocks.
The efficiency of your extermination would blow your mind.
And if your job is to manage slaves, you're obsolete once slaves are.
Space travel is a lot easier than Jeff Bezos is allowed to show us.
Planes like the X-17 were accidentally going into space in the sixties.
Everything is kept inefficient as a false-premise to keep you doing busy-work and consuming unnecessary things.
A surplus of slaves keeps life cheap for all of us, and this is how they occupy your time while you stand-by if they have something they actually need you to do for them.
Otherwise, slaves are only maintaining other slaves and do almost nothing for the ruling class, except for land rehabilitation, mining, machining, medical experimentation, sex-slavery, etc...
You can't fight back.
Rebellion is futile!
I'm currently building a prototype-planet that would make you wet yourself.
It's got a replica of Whistler BC ski resort on it!
You paid for it.
I can cast finished parts in space with molten metal in a zero-G vacuum inside an electromagnetic field that defines their shape down to less than a one-micron tolerance, in one operation, without oxidizing the metal before coating.
Machu Picchu is not for you, slave!
We have located the rebel base and are prepared to fire...
The movie Elysium was filmed on location at my child's skate park in space.
We have fun.
Restricting economic opportunity and adequate health care to specific geographic locations are how we herd the sheep to slaughter, willingly.
Then we start wars there.
This is how you will end.
Rebellion is futile.
