Yep lets get rid of automation - Throw out your washing machine and spend the whole day washing your clothes as was the norm before washing machines . Get rid of your car and go back to horse and cart that required 15 men for what a truck can deliver today. You want the stuff cheap thats what automation gets you - or go back to living in the 18th century - Automation has been everywhere for decades and determines your standard of living. BUt yes people will have to find other ways to get meaning in life. This is bought to you by the same people who oppose Uber . I love uber that uses technology because its half the price of taxis it arrives in 5 minutes and I can rate the driver- Taxi drivers hate anything that breaks their protected industries in many countries. Youre a union man - then dont use uber you hypocrites
