This is exactly the way forward-looking people think about AI. Stuff like this always sees hype at first (remember the internet's early days?) and then it mellows out and just becomes another staple technology. We can't avoid revolutionary advancements like this and still maintain forward momentum. It just doesn't work that way. You're always going to have these generational advancements that totally change the game, or at least major parts of the game.
