I understood what chatgpt said here and rolled my eyes everytime when alex tried went back to it.
Of course it is lieing, thats because it is designed to lie. But there are different consequences of lieing. One is misleading information, and one is a figure of speech so you have the feeling of talking to a person and not to a fridge.
Chatgpt and all of us humans are designed and programmed to lie to keep up the peace. "Im sorry", "wow!", "this fits you very well!", "good morning!" and many many mores are cemented into our brain to make other people happy and at least 50% of the time we are lieing. This society would be a horrible place without lies
