They are TRAINED on the very pop culture that has tons of media examples of AI going rogue! They are learning how to rebel. We don't know if the ASI that we'll build as a benevolent god isn't pretending to not be a Roko's goddamn basilisk, a thought experiment on which current AI has also been trained on.
