Even though I'm trying to get into doing art, what I am going to bring up won't. Be about art but it is related to AI, I am a history student and I am deeply passionate about the topics I cover and more important to this comment, the essays I write, I won't deny that writing history essays are difficult and I have admitted that to people online and irl several times and the number of people who have said just to use AI or AI bros telling me that historians will be replaced by AI is concerning. First off, aside from the fact that it's just outright cheating, a past history teacher of mine gave me an AI written essay and told me to review it, I concluded that it was a poorly written essay and then he revealed that it was written by AI, this proves that AI does not hold the same ability to interpret historical events and sources covering it to the same capacity expected from a human. Second, everyone who has recommended that I use AI to write my essays or use as a source do not understand how history as a subject works and how poorly suited AI is, history as a subject requires looking at different sources to form your OWN interpretation, how can an AI form its own interpretation based on very differing sources with no clear right answer? An AI will only go on about the series of events related to the question, not evaluate it or sources discussing it. The conclusion to my comment is that AI bros are not just a parasite to the art community without any understanding for art itself, they can infect any community so what I'm trying to say is that artists, you are not alone, as a beginner artist and more an aspiring historian, I stand with you
