Hot take here but UBI won’t work. I’ve been working blue collar most of my life and I’ve seen white collar people driving Mercedes-Benz BMW and living in big houses. a lot of blue-collar people barely make meet. I’m not about to bust my ass while all of them get to live without working after they receive disproportionate benefits because their economic position and their ability to pay for expensive school. I know for sure that’s how a lot of blue-collar people will feel so you’re gonna have blue-collar people no longer working. They will see more benefits if they quit their job and without the means of replacing those people the economy will collapse. the government knows this. They have analyst who will know this so UBI won’t happen and if there is a revolution and people try to enforce it, it’s gonna get stomped out pretty brutally with AI weapons. And until we were able to replace all labor, UBI is a moot point.
