In regards to the art style vs ai gen in your style, it's like the difference between an homage/cover versus plagiarism. We still call someone a plagiarizer when they trace and them combine pieces, which is basically what the AI does by skimming your work to reproduce a prompt. I genuinely think AI for art, music and writing is the worst timeline. AI should be for things that humans aren't capable of doing in a timely fashion--one use I heard of was teaching an AI about existing antibiotic compounds, them letting it go to town on a library of millions of molecules to find potential new antibiotics. They said it would take hundreds of years for humans working full-time to cover all of those compounds. And not to call Amazon good, but the AI there which helps summarize the overall reviews of products, is also something that wouldn't be able to get done feasibly by humans since there are SO MANY products.
We let AI create our art, then we become the machines. Let AI be the machine and actually benefit humanity.
