I had an old model S with the 1.0 autopilot. It was rock solid and a great lane keeping assist tool as long as it could see the lane markings, and you easily learnt what it could and couldn't do. No way would I want to use the newer "Mostly Full Self Driving" options, You have to be on edge at all times, watching every twist of the steering wheel, always trying to second guess what the car will do next. It's a nightmare.
