If I'm being honest, this all seems overblown and shows how much artists freak out over something that isn't really a big deal. First off, he didn't steal the artwork. He just told NanoBanana to colorize the picture. The original picture is still in daughter Fountain's possession.
Secondly, this interaction was so unnecessary. I mean, yeah, the AI art guy was being kind of a a dick, but let's be honest here, it would be better John just blocked him and moved on. Don't feed the trolls. Please. Like there's no use arguing about the "dangers" of AI because those people know and don't care.
